I’m super excited to invite you to join me for an updated ‘Ding Dong Merrily On High’ video for this Christmas 2024.

This will be an updated version of last year’s viral clip, which achieved over 2 million total views across platforms, now featuring as many recorder players as possible!

Following a similar format to last year’s Online Recorder Consort project, starring Team Recorder’s Sarah Jeffery, participants are invited to submit a clip performing a given part of the arrangement.

The image below gives an example of ideal framing for your video submission. Please use headphones to hear the backing track, and ensure that audio is clear with no background noise. Please film clips in portrait.

NEW DEADLINE is 10.00 (GMT) Monday 16th December 2024.

Multiple part submission is absolutely welcomed.

Soprano part may be played on Garklein, Soprano (Descant), or Tenor recorders.

Alto part may be played on Sopranino, Alto (Treble), or Bass recorders

Tenor part may be played on Soprano (Descant), Tenor, Great Bass recorders.

Bass part may be played on Alto (Treble), Bass, Contrabass, Subcontrabass recorders.

As always, I highly encourage subbass submissions if you have access to an instrument!
