Work

I love how Otto uses all of the instruments he plays… it’s just a really creative refreshing way for the recorder to be used.
— Sarah Jeffery (Team Recorder, RCM)

As a working musician, I use the broad spectrum of my interests and experiences to inform and enrichen my contribution to any musical project – from classical to pop, and anything in between or beyond.

As a session musician, I have lent my playing to many recordings and live performances. This is predominantly on Recorder, Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar, Keys.

I have worked as a musical director for artists including Suzi Wu, Honess Jones, Huxlxy, in addition to my own live solo performances.

I am experienced in both live set arranging with Ableton Live and music production across a variety of DAWs, including Pro Tools.

In my undergraduate studies at the University of Bristol I took an extended study in Studio Composition, and was the recipient of their Studio Composition prize for my work ‘Sleep’.

I am able to offer my skills in all areas of music production; including studio work, mixing, and mastering.

I am pleased to offer lessons in Recorder and eCorder instrument.

I have experience with pupils of all ages, with recent teaching being predominantly adult learners. I am able to teach in-person in inner London or remotely via Zoom. I am happy to teach internationally, timezone differences allowing.

I take pride in covering a range of traditional and non-traditional approaches to the instrument, and am happy to cater a lesson plan to your specific goals and interests.
