Otto Hashmi

Otto Hashmi is a composer and recorder player from London. He has been described by Sarah Jeffery of ‘Team Recorder’ YouTube fame as "a fantastic recorder player” with his approach to the instrument being “a really creative refreshing way for the recorder to be used". He studied his Music BA at University of Bristol, where he was the recipient of the Studio Composition prize for his genre-bending work ‘Sleep’. He has toured globally as a session musician, as well as working as Musical Director for artists. He begins his masters studies in Recorder performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in Autumn 2022.
